Yeah, analyze first, check later.
But in all fairness, this stuff is very hard, and even seeing the moves will still take huge amount of dedication to understand them. :-)
And you better know king, rook, and (one) pawn vs king and rook inside out before, with all the subtleties of rook or knight pawn.
My main take away from this game would be to "slow down". At move 64, the position looked much easier to win, and you had almost 10 minutes on the clock left (with 10 secs increment). 25 moves moves later, you had even more time on the clock (11 min!), and the position was much harder to win, or a draw already.
This endgame is tough, and you need a good plan. There's no point in saving the time for later (if you manage to queen one of the pawns successfully, it's over).
Of course I can see how one can easily fall for "Let's move everything forward together, this will basically win on its own". :-)
